My name is Tim Hampson and I am a Partner and Solicitor specialising in Pension, Equity Release, Mini-Bonds and other Financial Services mis-selling. I have 10 years’ experience in Financial Mis-selling claims and have won 100’s of cases, including several landmark cases that have changed the law (see below) and been reported in the Press.
If you have been the victim of financial mis-selling and your case has merit, we can offer you a NO WIN, NO FEE Agreement and I will be dealing with it.

My notable cases;
I have acted on behalf of clients in the County Court, the High Court and the Court of Appeal, including recent success in the ground-breaking ‘Self Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) mis-selling’ case of Russell Adams –v- Options UK Personal Pensions LLP (formerly Options SIPP UK LLP and Carey Pensions UK LLP) [2021] EWCA Civ 474. Hundreds of savers and pensioners were fraudulently persuaded to switch their safe pensions into storage unit investments losing everything. We were successful in getting their losses back for them.
I have also brought claims via the Financial Ombudsman Service and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme on behalf of clients. I always consider the best forum my clients and will consider all options to achieve their desired outcome. I am currently acting for many claimants who have been mis-sold equity release mortgages and – due to the historic nature of these sales – it is often advisable to consider alternative dispute resolution.
I am also pursuing a collective action for dozens of investors who have lost savings in Mini-Bonds and peer to peer lending schemes, notably Gallium Fund Solutions and Wellesley Finance.
I have considerable experience of working within a team of lawyers and third parties on behalf of clients, including liaising with other solicitors, counsel and experts. I successfully obtained a Group Litigation Order on behalf of more than 170 claimants in a claim brought by multiple investors: Arif & Ors v Berkeley Burke SIPP Administration Ltd [2017] EWHC 3108 (Comm). Once again, I acted for savers and pensioners in recovering their lost investments into storage units and speculative foreign property investments.
I acted for a company and its individual directors in a claim against a financial adviser that had been rejected by the Financial Ombudsman Service, which resulted in a negotiated financial settlement for each of the individual directors at a mediation.
I acted for several individuals in Payment Protection Insurance litigation, including three of the claimants in the High Court decision of Andrew & Ors v Barclays Bank Plc [2012] EWHC B13 (Mercantile).

Have you suffered financial losses on a SIPP operated by a SIPP operator? If so, then you may have grounds for bringing a No Win No Fee claim.
Some SIPP operators have entered into dealings with third party advisers who are not authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority to give pension or investment advice. This is despite their regulatory body publishing alerts and giving warnings against such actions.
