The adviser recorded our client as a low risk investor but recommended a medium to high risk investment heavily weighted in equities and commercial property. Accepting the adviser’s recommendation our client invested in the Fund and within three months the client’s investment of £50,000 had fallen to £36,182.52, representing a capital loss of £13,817.48. Alarmed by the decline in her savings our client surrendered her investment receiving the sum of £35,298.14.

We obtained damages for the client in the sum of £17,590.59 which she was delighted with.
