FSCS Compensation Limit Increase Backed by Neglect Assist Solicitor

A senior solicitor with Neglect Assist has told the International Investment website that “it would be a great boost to the victims of negligent financial advice if the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) were to increase the limit of its compensation.”

Tim Hampson, a solicitor with award-winning professional negligence solicitors Neglect Assist, was interviewed by the Investment International website after FSCS chief executive Mark Neale hinted that the limit could be increased in a blog posting.

Mr Hampson added that: “Sadly, in many cases that we have seen, the compensation that the FSCS can award is simply not enough and leaves investors out of pocket with no other avenue for further recovery.”
